Blue. It’s where it all began. 💙

When we launched Brashies, blue was the colour everyone asked for — calming, classic, beachy. So we made it. Proudly. And honestly, it looked amazing on your little swimmers.

But here’s the thing:

Despite almost every major brand out there selling blue kids' swimwear, we caught a wave of criticism.

“Too hard to see in the water.”

“Not safe.”

“Why would you even make blue?”

We get it — and we heard you.

At Brashies, we’ve always put water safety first. That’s why we’ve spent the past year leading with bold, high-visibility colours that make kids easier to spot in pools, at the beach, and everywhere in between.

And while our blue styles meet every safety and quality standard (and then some), we’ve made the choice to retire them and double down on what matters most — keeping your kids seen and safe, wherever they swim.

So this is our final farewell to blue — a colour that helped launch our brand, sparked some healthy debate, and proved that doing things differently means standing for something.

We’re proud of what it represented. We’re even prouder of where we’re going next.
